Low Frequency Transformers
Linear transformers are primarily used to step down or up the voltage while providing the required isolation and the fundamental components in electrical and electronic systems, especially for low-frequency applications.
Operating at 50Hz /60 Hz, these are widely used in power distribution, audio equipment, and various industrial applications. Linear transformers usually built with E-I shaped Steel Laminations that help by reducing the cross-sectional area available for the eddy currents.
Toroidal and Shell Type cores are the alternate choices for the required flux distribution and efficiency. Insulated Copper / Aluminium conductors are used for the Windings. The Insulation is achieved by Insulation Films,Varnish, and or Insulating resin.
We produce various VA rated low frequency transformers in the range of 0.5VA – 1kVA
